ISWA is an independent non-profit civil society association empowering women, children, and vulnerable families across Syria.
ISWA is an independent non-profit civil society association focused on empowering individuals, promoting human rights, and strengthening social cohesion with a special focus on women and children.
Founded in Turkey in 2013 as Woman Support Association, ISWA obtained its Syrian license in Damascus by decision no. 861 on 5 March 2025 under the name ISWA Association.
Today, ISWA provides services in Damascus, Rural Damascus, Hama, Idlib, and Aleppo through integrated sectors in protection, social care, economic empowerment, and legal awareness.
Between 2013 and 2025, ISWA implemented 103 projects, reached 450,225 beneficiaries, and managed approximately USD 20 million in total programming budget.
